También visitamos la isla de Ven que esta situada entre Suecia y Dinamarca. Es una isla pequeñisima pero hermosa - sólo tiene dos pequeños pueblos y nada más con la excepción de una destileria de Whisky. Sólo empezaron este año asi que tenemos que esperar algunos años para probar el whisky. Los suecos deben tener sentido del humor porqué la isla también alberga la colección más grande de whisky del país - una isla con cuatro gatos.
We also visited the island of Ven which is situated between Sweden and Denmark. It is a really small but nice island - it only has 2 small villages, a port, a museum and a few shops and not much else apart from a whisky distillery which only started distilling this year.

Hace un par de semanas nos fuimos a Båstad, un pequeñito pueblo que es famoso por tener el Open de tennis de Suecia - sí, Nadal lo ha ganado.

Aquí se ve un tanque casero de la resistencia danesa que luchó (no durante mucho tiempo) contra los alemanes durante la segunda guerra mundial.

Malmö -Julio/Malmö - July
En Julio la hermana de Lucia, Eva, nos visitó para hacer juntos un curso intensivo de sueco. Tenía que dormir con la gata en la sofa pero creemos que disfrutó sus vacaciones en Suecia. Una de nuestras excursiones era visitar el puerto de Malmö y el rascacielos de Calatrava.
In July the sister of Lucia came to visit us to do an intensive Swedish course with Lucia. She had to sleep on the couch with Tosca but we think she enjoyed herself. One of our trips was to visit Malmo and in particular the port and the turning torso tower.

Helsingborg
En junio nos fuimos a Helsingborg, una cuidad casi 45 minutos norte del Lund si coges el tren. Es el sitio en Skåne más cerca de dinamarca (se ve en las photos) y un montón de suecos cogen elferry para ir a dinmarca y comprar cerveza barata.
In June we went to Helsingborg about a 45mins train journey north of Lund, along the coast. It is the place closest to Denmark (you can see it from the photos) and has a ferry which many Swedes take to go over and buy booze.
